Position Title: Content Writer

Reports To: Manager, RFP

Department: Marketing

Work Location: US (Remote)

Classification: Salary

Responsibilities

  • Upload and edit RFP response content into Content Management System.
  • Thoroughly investigate each content area and industry vertical with the SMEs and update and/or create new content with the information gleaned.
  • Work with analytics and marketing to help in creation of differentiators, key strengths, and ghosting.
  • Ensure all hard copy proposals are printed, signed, and shipped on time. This person is the final quality check for hard copy proposals.
  • Maintain and update content database.
  • Respond to personnel’s request for specific content.
  • Support Bid Managers in tracking down content.
  • Act as back-up Bid Manager for support when RFP volume is high.
  • Supporting LLS’ Quality Management System (QMS) to continually improve the Division’s processes, procedures, and services; and thereby increase efficiency, productivity, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

The full-time annual salaries for this role is listed below, . Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this location. Experience and education refers to LanguageLine Solutions’ current salary range for this position. US Remote pay range $65,000 USD - $85,000 USD.

The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.

Qualities and Skills Needed

  • Excellent writing and editing skills with knowledge of marketing and strategic copy writing.
  • Good communicator who can work across departments to effectively gain information needed.
  • Perfect grammar and understanding of English language.
  • Experience with content management systems preferred.
  • Ability to work well under deadlines in a fast-paced team.
  • Self-starter who can work independently and initiate.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Acrobat Professional, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of graphics and a graphic eye for layout and presentation.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint helpful, but not necessary.
