The Supervisor, Fleet acts in a supervisory role to ensure all aspects of the operations staff, primarily the drivers, maintenance, and dispatch staff to facilitate that the daily operations and needs of the client are effective, efficient, and are completed based on contractual requirements. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise Drivers, Dispatchers and Maintenance employees and their daily performance, to ensure safe, efficient, effective operation, including scheduling, expenditures, attendance, and discipline
  • Administers timekeeper responsibilities for employees
  • Builds and maintains the driver schedules
  • Tracks productivity, adherence, time off and production metrics
  • Assist with training, retraining and of company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Perform driver evaluations as required by contract to ensure compliance with ADA, and FTA requirements
  • Train to proficiency in client application process
  • Assist leadership with monthly billing including mileage reimbursement
  • Train to proficiency in Ecolane scheduling, funding, and management
  • Assist with oversight of fleet maintenance program
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll need:

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Experience in an operational role
  • Possess a continuously valid US driver’s license for the past two years, from date of issue
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
  • No suspensions, DUI, or More than 1 citation in the past 5 years
  • Must pass criminal background investigation

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in a related field preferred
  • Experience working in a supervisory role preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of accident investigation preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Safety and training practices and procedures
  • Ability to communicate, teach and mentor employees
  • Must be able to demonstrate conflict resolution skills
  • Quick to process information and make adjustments or recommendations
  • Skills in the use of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft applications
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Regular attendance is required
