Objectives of the Position

Dispersions & Resins division is a leading global supplier of high-quality polymer emulsions, acrylic binders, resins and additives to a wide range of industries, had over 5,900 employees globally in 2023 with global headquarter located in Hong Kong.

As part of the Global Controlling (& Strategy) team, you will be reporting to the Head of Global Controlling. You will have the opportunity to take part in financial dashboard development, reporting activities, financial analysis in a global business environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the team in the monthly management reporting
  • Analyse financial variance with historical data and budget to identity gaps
  • Contribute to the digitalization initiatives of reporting and analysis tools
  • Support development of dashboard using Power BI to increase efficiency of reporting and enhance dimensions of analysis
  • Participate in global controlling meetings to collaborate with global controlling leaders

Requirements

  • Must be able to commit to a 6-month full-time internship from July 2024
  • Students of bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Finance, Accounting IT, Data Science, or related disciplines
  • High proficiency in oral and written English
  • Preferably with experience in Finance, Controlling, Information Systems or Data Analysis
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
  • Knowledge in data visualization tool such as Power BI, understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL) would be preferable.
  • Ability to think outside of the box and have analytical mindset
  • Self-starter and able to work independently on assigned projects with limited supervision
