Our Boise Idaho office is seeking an Engineering 3D Visualization Specialist to join our firm of professionals. Ideal candidates should have a background in 3D visualization with a passion for 3D modeling. In this entry-level position you will be responsible for the creation of 3D multi-media to support civil, architectural, and environmental engineering projects. This includes but is not limited to 3D modeling for animation, real-time, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and photo-simulations. The position requires the ability to work as a team member in a fast-paced production pipeline, this includes the ability to effectively communicate within a team environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in visualization, 3d modeling, animation, or related degree.
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling techniques such as polygon modeling and spline modeling within Autodesk 3D Studio Max or equivalent 3D software.
  • Knowledge of PBR workflow using a CPU or GPU pipeline 
  • Able to interpret and build detailed 3D models from 2D CAD plans, apply UV mapping and procedural textures.
  • Experience in CAD platforms such as Autodesk AutoCAD, Civil3D, or Bentley Microstation considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and AfterEffects.
  • Unity3D and Unreal experience considered a plus.
  • Coding or programming experience is considered a plus.
  • Rendering and post-production experience considered a plus.
  • Desire to pursue growth opportunities and a passion for visualization.
  • Photography experience and/or multi-disciplinary background a plus.
