The Position

This role is responsible for developing and implementing disease strategy by identifying gaps and opportunities along the patient journey that highlight the clinical value proposition of High Medical Value Assays (HMV). In addition, this lead will work on the market access strategy, value proposition and plans for key stakeholder groups (private and public) involved in the policy, funding and access.

In this position, you will be in a key role to help shape and enable the RDMY strategy, and contribute to the overall Roche Diagnostics vision.

The Opportunity:

  • Develop and implement disease marketing plan including access, policy as well as branding for the responsible HMV product segment including Cross BA selling as One Roche approach. 
  • Achieve sales target and grow HMV including monitor sales performance in alignment with marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement Key opinion leaders’ strategy to support clinical utilities adoption for high value solutions as well as advocacy. 
  • Plan and explore innovative business models (e.g. Public-private partnership) for business sustainability and growing patient access.
  • Constantly enhancing team’s capabilities and culture; developing and growing subordinates by providing coaching, customizing and monitoring their development plans.
  • Ensure business continuity, opportunities or risks are evaluated and feedback to stakeholders accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders (internal & external), gaining a deep understanding of their needs and identifying shared purpose in order to create fruitful partnerships, influence and shape disease ecosystems for patient access to high value solutions.
  • Represent Roche in engagement opportunities and collect and compile insights, positions and feedback to shape and drive our access and policies strategies.

Who you are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science/Pharmacy or related subjects. from a reputable University. Master degree or doctoral degree is a plus.
  • Additional Business qualification and Market Access experience desired.
  • At least 5-7 years of diverse healthcare experience in Medical, Clinical, Pharmaceutical Marketing or selling to clinicians.
  • Detailed technical/clinical knowledge of disease portfolio, patient journey, health economic models and solid knowledge of the clinical marketplace.
  • Strong ability to work in a matrix and collaborative environment
