Head of Digital Marketing, APAC Science & Lab Solutions

As a key member of the APAC Digital & eCommerce team, you will have the opportunity to work on one of the leading websites in the Life Science industry, leading and managing digital marketing strategy aligned with Life Science's vision to achieve business objectives. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop a Center of Excellence and implement initiatives that will drive engagement with customers via Digital activities, while also driving the growth of e-commerce. This position will report to the Head of Digital & eCommerce APAC, with responsibilities across all Asia-Pacific countries.

  • Lead the Digital Marketing team to develop, implement, and manage local digital marketing strategies including acquisition and retention campaigns, email marketing, landing page optimization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor & partner with the commercial marketing team to support and optimize commercial digital campaigns to acquire qualified leads and increase purchase conversion.
  • Develop and execute plans for the rollout of digital campaigns through driving performance marketing via Google Ads, Display Ads, and PPC, with tailored targeting for each distribution channel.
  • Plan and manage advertising and promotional budgets effectively to allocate resources across the most high-impact and relevant media channels, in alignment with the business objective.
  • Identify target audiences, develop effective lead generation and nurturing strategies, and create and manage marketing automation campaigns. 
  • Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize email campaigns, and landing pages, and proactively manage the marketing automation platform to ensure that it is consistently delivering optimal results.
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial marketing team, sales team, and customer service team to create compelling email marketing content for different customer journey stages and nurture leads.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through data analysis and use the insights gained to improve strategies and tactics to increase audience reach and grow the opt-in contacts.
  • Provide detailed reports on marketing automation campaign performance, analyzing key metrics such as email open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze website visitor behavior to identify specific opportunities for improving conversion rates.
  • Review and analyze sales results including shopper behavior and seasonal analysis in product-wise for online channel to continuously drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the Data Science & Analytics team and develop web analytics reports and dashboards that meet the ongoing business intelligence needs of the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with data privacy guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance and promote data governance within the team.
  • Continue to develop deep expertise and stay informed of the latest advancements in social media, campaigns, technology, and content marketing, and use that knowledge to identify potential opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • 10+ years of experience in leading digital marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Proven experience in using innovative technologies and MarTech platforms including marketing automation and customer data platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Ability to analyze various data and apply insights to make decisions to drive/improve results for full funnel marketing.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, ability to impact and influence outcomes in a matrixed environment and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Has a "can-do" attitude and sees obstacles as opportunities to find alternative ways to do things and grow, demonstrating resourcefulness and flexibility.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, analytical and presentation skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Business English.
