Supply Chain Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Supply Chain Manager oversees the efficient and effective management of the supply chain for Window, Siding, Metal, Roofing, and OPP inventories. They lead the tactical and functional execution of business strategies, supporting product planning, procurement, and inventory management. This role requires a willingness to take on diverse tasks and assignments outside the standard job description.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct all functions involved in purchasing, planning, and controlling materials, from forecasting replenishment needs to receiving raw materials into inventory.
• Recruit, hire, and supervise staff to achieve corporate objectives.
• Collaborate in product planning to ensure timely acquisition of materials for production schedules.
• Work with department heads and business leaders to set priorities and objectives for process improvement projects, with a focus on Inventory Planning and alignment with company Working Capital objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including ACCESS databases, and electronic database systems.
• Experience in building and leading high-functioning teams.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience in planning/forecasting aspects of the Supply Chain, with 2+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Good working knowledge of process improvement and procurement principles.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Experience in manufacturing operations is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for analyzing supply chain performance metrics and making data-driven decisions.
• Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, reporting, and documentation.
• Oracle WMS for optimizing warehouse operations.
