Reporting to the Manager, Digital PMO, and Strat Planning, the Digital Project Manager will be dedicated to and accountable for the Digital and Consumer Experience implementation plan (Digital, Connectivity, and Mobile apps portfolio) within the overall corporate strategy. The incumbent will, through project management, provide leadership on internal and external partner work. They will work with product managers to develop a strategy, define KPIs, establish and deploy the program’s internal communications, and ensure the project is delivered on time, on specs, and on budget. The ideal candidate will have a results-oriented mindset and strong digital strategic experience, with a deep understanding of the connected digital product or IoT. YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • In collaboration with the Digital PMO, develop, define, and implement management best practices and methods
  • In collaboration with the Connectivity Manager, transpose the strategy and direction of BRP.s Connectivity program into tangible actions for the Digital Connectivity team. 
  • Align with BRP standards, build and maintain a comprehensive project plan. 
  • Track progress (team/project/production support), guide project initiatives, and give project stakeholders status reports regularly, ensuring proper communication between project collaborators
  • Organize, coordinate, and plan the activities of day-to-day affairs with a multifunctional team: product ownership, UI/UX, development, Data acquisitions, and other related areas
  • Ensure that the project is delivered on time, on specs, and on budget
  • Define and monitor departmental KPIs (team velocity, budget management)
  • Identify any dependencies, risks, and issues, and track them. 
  • Motivate, educate, and engage the business team
  • Understand the program’s impact and oversee change management
  • Close projects (report, post-mortem, etc.)

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • 6 or more years of experience in digital project management roles
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing complex projects
  • Adaptability
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Project plan, timeline, and budget management)
  • Experience with website and App development life cycle
  • Experience with Agile methods
  • Proficiency with project tracking and collaboration tools (Asana, Jira, Confluence)
  • Business-oriented – able to work with people from different sectors, take a pedagogical approach, and communicate technical and business concepts to all types of audiences
  • Able to make decisions quickly in a constantly changing environment and demonstrate a capacity for innovation
  • Strong organizational skills, hard-working and dependable
  • Able to draft documents that are clear and well-structured
  • Bilingualism English and French (a plus, not mandatory)
  • Extensive team integration and collaboration skills
  • Good at solving problems and persuading others
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to use plain language to explain complex technologies and their benefits
  • Leadership qualities, with a focus on building a positive work environment and motivating the project team
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including presentation, meeting facilitation and team-building techniques
