The Pharmacy Environmental Sampling Technician will work closely with the Pharmacy Environmental Microbiology Analyst to provide comprehensive environmental monitoring reports. Under guidance of qualified (pharmaceutical) microbiologists, the Sampling Technician may perform re-sampling and investigative samples for sites across the division. As a member of the of AdventHealth Orlando Pharmacy team, this specialist will actively contribute to the assuring quality of sterile compounding environments and safe sterile compounding. This employee will also actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all **The value you’ll bring to the team** **:** Knowledge of sample collection as it relates to aseptic processing environments such as sterile compounding cleanrooms or sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Personal qualities and interpersonal communication skills to interact and maintain good relationships with a broad spectrum of healthcare disciplines and the public under all circumstances Functions independently using effective written and verbal communication Detail oriented with exceptional time management, documentation and teamwork skills Ability to self-monitor progress and complete assigned tasks independently Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet knowledge skills Familiar with sterile and non-sterile USP compounding standards Mature judgment and the ability to handle confidential information within AdventHealth guidelines and applicable regulations.
