This hybrid position can be located at our Corporate Office in New York, NY or Camp Hill, PA. 

Foot Locker, Inc. is hiring a Corporate FP&A Senior Manager to join our team! This role is responsible for the oversight of corporate expenses across various departments within Foot Locker, Inc. This position requires experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, including knowledge of accounting and finance. You will partner with various senior-level executives and expense managers to track and forecast expenses, while also producing timely and accurate financial analyses for the CFO and executive leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with HR to track headcount, vacancies, and attrition rates on 350+ associates
  • Accurately forecast salary expenses for the full year and provide detailed forecast updates, and variance analysis to upper management
  • Gather details and supply meaningful color around current trends and full year outlook
  • Maintain open lines of communication with department leaders and HR partners, ask questions, and discuss risks and opportunities in the current forecast
  • Assist with associate transfers and department restructuring, provide financial oversight, and guidance on all financial decisions
  • Track department spend, including travel and professional fees, to ensure the proper accounting between prepaid and expense accounts
  • Work with external vendors to manage invoicing and registration in the Foot Locker AP/Supplier system 
  • Complete monthly and quarterly accounting tasks, including journal entries (accruals, prepaid amortization, etc.), account reconciliations and SOX testing
  • Help manage expense controls across the organization, including reporting and expense review meetings
  • Drive conversations to explore savings opportunities and act as the conduit between expense managers and senior leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in finance/accounting or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in budgeting and forecasting
  • General knowledge of accounting/finance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling personally identifiable information (PII) or other sensitive information
  • Self-starter mentality and highly motivated
  • Analytical skills-set and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can confidently and effectively present information and respond to questions from organizational leadership

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $105000 - $125000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below:
