Job Summary
Reporting to the Associate Director for Employer Relations, the Employer Events Coordinator connects with employers on a daily basis with the primary responsibility of managing all career expos/fairs and other UCC events as needed. Additional responsibilities include coordinating employer involvement in various networking and recruiting activities and assisting with the marketing and promotion of all employer events. The Employer Events Coordinator will be expected to work as part of a team, often working in conjunction with other staff members to execute targeted events.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe University Career Center is seeking a dynamic and organized Event Coordinator to join our team. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing a wide range of events aimed at connecting students with career opportunities, professional development resources, and networking opportunities. This role requires creativity, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including students, employers, faculty, and staff.

Additional InformationRemote notice: After the probationary period, this role may be eligible for a hybrid (partly remote/partly in office) work schedule, subject to business need and manager approval. Must be located within the DFW Area and have the ability to be on campus with 24 hours of notice. A UT Dallas Remote Work Agreement will be required within 14 days after approval.
Must be able to travel to off-campus employer sites, and attend professional development opportunities and other relevant events. Must possess the willingness and ability to work an unconventional work schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
