Responsibilities
Project Phase:
- Completion of commissioning of all Utilities & Offsite facility on time.
- Review of Procurement specifications, Commissioning, Technical calculations as necessary, for equipment.
- Supervision of the Construction, Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities of Utility area (Rotating, Static Equipment, Instrumentation & Control Systems, Electrical Systems, etc.), Ancillaries and Piping.
Operations Phase:
- Develop SOPs for efficient and safe operation of Utility equipment.
- Ensure compliance to SOP of the plant during normal operation & shut-down, emergencies / up-sets to achieve planned production
- Controlling effluents and emissions discharge to meet statutory requirements.
- Support all Preventive, Predictive, Corrective Maintenance and trouble-shooting activities.
- Maintain optimum Inventory of Spares, Chemicals & Consumables.
- Development and implementation of MIS (Management Information System).
- Day-to-day coordination with other sections for prioritising scheduled and un-scheduled maintenance activities
- Responsible for carrying out the Modification jobs for any improvement in utility plant through MOC.
- Adhered environmental standards and compliance requirements
Education Qualification:
- B.Tech / M.Tech Mechanical
Deliverables:
- Sound understanding of chillers, Cooling tower, N2 plant, Air compressor, Air Dryer, Fire hydrant system, Water treatment and knowledge of Boiler operations.
- Good understanding of Legal and safety guidelines / Requirements.
- Should have excellent communication skills with good spoken and written English.
- People management experience with skills leading, developing, and training a diverse team.
Technical Competencies/Skills:
Good proficiency in MS Office, Proficient in MS Project, Primavera, Project Management Tools, Documentation, MIS Skills, Report management, Budgeting, etc.
