About the Role

We are searching for a highly motivated person to join MoneyLion’s Corporate Development team. The Corporate Development team partners closely with the executive leadership team to develop strategy, identify and foster strategic partnerships and execute the company’s inorganic/M&A agenda, all in the interest of advancing the core MoneyLion mission. 

In this role you will be helping to shape MoneyLion’s strategy by driving our multi-faceted growth agenda through partnerships and ecosystem expansion. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Investor Relations and more to ensure our products meet customer needs and are positioned for success in the market. More specifically, in this role, you will help drive the execution of strategic partnerships, as well as sourcing opportunities, conducting market landscapes, performing financial analysis, coordinating all aspects of due diligence, and supporting integration planning and execution in partnership with senior team members.

This role is onsite 4 days a week out of our New York City office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and drive new opportunities across consumer, media / content and marketplace businesses
  • Support ongoing management of key strategic relationships
  • Drive partner and stakeholder engagement
  • Support and help lead the ongoing strategic planning process
  • Stay abreast of and become a student of market dynamics and trends within Fintech
  • Negotiate partner agreements
  • Drive incremental revenue initiatives
  • Establish operating models and business architecture for new initiatives
  • Management and C-suite presentations

About You

  • Minimum 3-5+ years experience at a top-tier company in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, strategic finance, investment banking or private equity.
  • Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills coupled with a strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity for crypto. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for understanding new technology and desire to contribute to team initiatives.
  • BA/BS degree in related field. 
  • Experience in financial services and/or consumer internet
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional senior executives in a fast-changing environment
  • Experience negotiating and closing deals

The annual base salary for the Account Analyst role is expected to be between $150,000 to $220,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
