The Linear Motion Division is a major contributor to the AMC Segment, with approximately 1,700 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 9 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, & Europe.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Finance, Thomson Linear Division and is responsible for leading the monthly forecast and the annual operating plan, driving trend analysis to isolate risks and actionable financial improvement opportunities, and leading process improvement opportunities across the global finance team. This position is located in Downers Grove, IL

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support monthly operating reviews, annual operating plans and long range plans; collaborate with division and corporate finance teams to optimize and streamline processes.
  • Gather and analyze information to help identify P&L and working capital trends. Communicate potential risks and opportunities vs forecast and recommend action plans to improve returns.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide support on strategic projects such as capital spend allocations, cash flow projections, and M&A activity.
  • Effectively communicate across all levels of the organization to ensure expectations, timelines, and finance deliverables are consistently understood and completed.
  • Support internal control processes to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Regal Rexnord accounting policies.
  • Partner with operational and commercial leaders to support them in driving sustainable business growth, share insights, and optimize profitability.
  • Support transition from HFM to OneStream (reconciliation, development and conversion of reporting templates and tools, and acting as super-user for division).
  • Lead, supervise, and develop team of FP&A analysts.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A or a related finance role.
  • Must have a strong manufacturing background and excellent analytical skills
  • Advanced user of Excel utilizing Pivot Tables, Sumif, If, vlookup, and other functions.
  • Strong ERP experience, preferably Oracle.
  • Experience with HFM, OneStream, or similar financial reporting systems
  • Team player with strong organization skills required.
  • Self-motivated and a strong desire to achieve results.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
