For the location in Gilching near Munich, we are looking for a Project Buyer (m/f/d)
These challenges await you:
- Coordination of purchasing activities in interdisciplinary development teams, from kick-off to early supplier involvement and price negotiations to series production readiness
- Development of bidders list and sourcing plan with the involvement of the material group managers
- Analytical preparation of purchasing decisions and presentation in the Sourcing Committee (SoCo)
- Conducting price and contract negotiations for selected commodity groups or key suppliers
- Initiation and target-oriented implementation of measures to reduce material costs
- Execution of global sourcing activities in cooperation with the international purchasing teams
- Preparation and support of supplier relocations
- Identification and approval of new suppliers
- Support in supplier development
You inspire us with that:
- Successfully completed technical or business studies or comparable studies
- Several years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in the automotive sector desirable
- Results-oriented and structured way of working
- Negotiation skills, assertiveness as well as a high level of personal responsibility and initiative
- Professional competence and communicative, team-oriented action
- Confident use of PC and Office applications, SAP/3 knowledge advantageous
- Fluent in written and spoken German and English
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
