Meet the Team 

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining platforms and services that enable our internal teams to work more efficiently, as well as developing and enhancing our frontend and backend applications. You will be working with cutting-edge technologies and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization. 

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and maintain event-driven microservices, reactive frontends and internal frameworks. 
• Collaborate with other teams to understand their needs and build solutions to meet those needs. 
• Develop software primarily in python, but make use of other languages when appropriate 
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, staging, and production environments. 
• Participate in agile development processes and focus on improving team velocity. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends. 

Skills You Will Need 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. 
• 2-5 years of professional experience in software development. 
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, etc. 
• Experience with version control systems like Git. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team 

. 

The following qualifications will be considered a plus: 

• Strong experience with event-driven architecture and microservices. 
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. 
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React or VueJS 
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. 
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $95,357 - $177,091 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
