Your New Role

The Program Operations Executive will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery and processing of all incoming localised languages, and associated assets, in line with Channel objectives, for the Channels and OTT services across SEA region, including both simulcast and standard turnaround subtitle & dubbed deliverables in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.

Collaborate closely with Internal and External parties, the Program Operations Executive must work to ensure content delivery to optimum deadlines and manage functions including input of program data in the Broadcast Management System, dissemination of requirements and managing deadlines for compliance, localisation and delivery of media.

Your Role Accountabilities

MATERIAL DELIVERIES 10%

  • Work closely with Inventory & TQC teams to ensure timely delivery and processing of materials needed for localization.

DATA MANAGEMENT 20%

  • Ensure language request is entered and maintained within the Broadcast & Asset Management Systems.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of localised assets.
  • Keep track of costs associated with the operations process of localisation; support in PO management and invoice reconciliation.

LOCALISATION AND S&P 60%

  • Based on schedule and other channel parameters, manage operational workflow, including monitoring of compliance, requesting localisation and working closely with localisation vendors to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Source and manage localisation of synopses and other metadata as required.

INVENTORY ANALYSIS 5%

  • Provide analysis and feedback on content inventory and metadata for various supply chain integration projects, as and when required.

COMMUNICATIONS 5%

  • Manage vendors to ensure timely delivery of localised assets
  • Collaboration & liaison with local and regional Internal Departments, external Vendors and Distributors /Licensors & Responsible for program assets – materials and metadata.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in operations – media management, tracking materials and dealing with third parties
  • Broad knowledge and experience in the technical requirements for broadcast media
  • Ability to manage projects, with ability to deliver on time and solve logistical problems
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
  • Experience in localisation cost tracking, PO management and invoice reconciliation
  • Ability to function well with Microsoft Excel, Words i.e. basic to advanced skills
  • Years of experience: At least 3 years in media management
  • Years of experience: At least 3 years in localisation cost tracking, PO management and invoice reconciliation 

Desirable

  • Experience in SE Asian broadcast media
  • Bachelor/ Degree holder preferred
  • Knowledge of a core Asian language e.g. Chinese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Vietnamese, Thai, Tagalog, Burmese, Japanese, Korean and Mongolian
  • Experience in subtitling QC, edit with software i.e. Poliscript, Cavena, Adobe Premiere
  • Experience in Smartsheet

Competency

  • Communication: Excellent communication skills in managing deliverables with Internal and External parties - Distributors, Licensors, Vendors.
  • Prioritization: Ability to work to deadlines and multi-task across multiple channels/projects.
  • Learning Agility: Ability to quickly master new systems and adapt workflow in a changing environment.
  • Creativity: Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve within the available timelines and resources.
  • Team Work: Collaborate with internal and external stake-holders to ensure optimum outcomes for all parties.

Candidate may need to work non-standard hours from time to time to support operational priorities, such as urgent fast-turnaround content. In such cases, flexible working hours will always be accommodated.
