QA Automation

BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated QA Automation in Columbus, OH area!

Job Title: QA Automation

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 12 months Contract to Hire

Hybrid Model: 3 Days onsite 2 days remote

Design and develop high-volume, low-latency tools to support the testing of Home Lending applications.

• Write well designed, testable, and efficient code.
• Support continuous improvement of tools by investigating other innovative solutions for design review and implementation.
• Define and document automation focused test strategies for aligned products and applications.
• Deliver on ideas from concept through to implementation, including issue root cause analysis.
• Liaise with onshore managers on all progress and issues related to automation testing.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 4 years' experience with functional testing automation tools and technologies (Selenium, Java, Cucumber, Python).
• 2 years' experience with API (Application Programming Interface) test automation (Rest Assured, SoapUI, Postman)
• 2 years' experience working with databases such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server and DB2
• Experience with VBScript and JavaScript
• Experience with CI/CD (Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery) (environments, tools, technologies (Jenkins) and parallel execution (Selenium Grid)
• Experience with Spring Boot or any Web development is plus.
• Experience in Data analytics and visualization tool is plus (Alteryx and Tableau)
