The Digital QE Lead is responsible for requirement gathering, business process design, development of use cases, testing and postproduction support of business applications. We're looking for a talented, detail-orientated individual to join our team!

Hybrid setting applies to those within a 50-mile radius of the Akron, OH or Dallas, TX office. May be open to remote for candidates outside of radius.

Strategy & Planning

  • Define the scope and prepare end-to-end testing for projects/sprints in collaboration with the Digital IT team and vendor partners
  • Setup test data and validate system configurations
  • Collaborate with Digital teams to develop solutions that meet the requirements given by the business
  • Establish project scope and objectives with the project team and project stakeholders
  • Collaborate with various business and IT teams to complete E2E activities, to include ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the E2E efforts as established during the planning phase

System Implementation

  • Create E2E flows and document them and review it with different stake holders
  • Perform unit and systems Integrations testing and document the results
  • Enforce standards and methodologies that pertain to quality, consistency, and accuracy of project design, development, testing and implementation
  • Participate in technical walkthroughs to validate design
  • Utilize the automated scripts and minimize the manual execution
  • Migrate basic, low-risk solutions into the production environment

Operational Management

  • Work with system owners to test the production issues in lower environments
  • Demonstrate the post go live features to various stake holders

Formal Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience. 
  • Certifications are a plus

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5-8 years of related experience.
  • General knowledge of business process workflows
  • Retail Experience with a strong understanding of E2E eCommerce flows
  • SAP Hybris, Sterling Order Management or similar experience is preferred
  • Experience in test automation, including framework development and script creation
  • Experience in Automation tools like Worksoft, Selenium is required
  • Strong Integration testing experience is a must
  • Exposure to Gen AI in relation to Testing / automation is a plus
