Business Development Internship, OTT Summer 24' (NY)

  • Confirm you can attend in-person every week from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 pm PST to attend a mandatory 2-hour Weekly Intern Seminar every Tuesday and in-office on Thursdays.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR INTERNSHIPS: 

All intern candidates must be currently enrolled with a minimum 3.0 GPA and eligible to receive academic credit or endorsement from an accredited learning institution.

We recommend interns commit to a minimum of 16 hours per week – they can do more but should plan to be working 4+ hours during each day they can commit. 

Interns must attend a mandatory 2-hour orientation on FRIDAY, JUNE 7, 2024,

10:30AM PST – 12:30PM PST (IN FULL)

Interns must commit to attending a mandatory 2-hour weekly seminar program taught by different Studio71 executives to educate them on our business and industry – TUESDAYS, 12:00PM PST – 2:00PM PST (IN FULL)

Interns work in groups to create and launch a digital brand and have their work reviewed by peers and Company executives – AUGUST 16, 2024 11:00AM PST – 12:30PM PST.

Our Interns

Studio71’s internship program is designed to complement academics with practical experience in media and entertainment. Through the program, students will gain real-world experience developing and launching an online brand, pair with a mentor to follow an individualized learning plan, and attend weekly seminars taught by industry executives. This is a great opportunity to build a network in entertainment and the digital content space and get a jumpstart on your career.

Responsibilities 

  • Knowledgeable of MS Office
  • Understand UX/UI principles
  • Strategical bent of mind
  • Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly
  • Develop and understanding of Studio71 talent, and what creators can be included for each platform 
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of our partners
  • Help maintain a tracking document of our talent and outline relevant information
  • Learn how to identify potential partnerships, and how we do outreach for said companies
  • Maintain detailed leads tracking grid, and search for relevant contact information when needed
  • Gain an understanding of the types of platforms available for creator monetization, such as Snapchat and various OTT apps.
  • Research platforms and get an understanding of the type of content we can bring to this partnership

Qualifications 

  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • Must be enrolled at an accredited university for the duration of the internship
  • Must be able to receive academic credit
  • Must be able to dedicate at least 16 hours and maintain a regular schedule
