Your next role as a Miracle Maker 

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our Information Systems team as a Data Visualization Intern.

Project Overview:

The Data Visualization Intern will learn the data collection, analyzing, interpreting and visualization processes required for creating robust Tableau Dashboards. They will work with stakeholders to compile dashboard requirements and understand the key metrics for creating a high impact dashboard to support business needs. The outcome of this project will help the business monitor their KPI’s and the efficiency of their programs, creating a tool for making high-level business decisions to help advance goals and objectives. They will understand the role of data visualization in decision making and how it provides valuable insights quickly and accurately for the entire organization.

Project Milestones:

• Review existing reports and dashboards in Tableau environment.
• Attend online beginner Tableau training courses as needed.
• Meet with stakeholders to understand and gather requirements for the dashboard.
• Identify data sources and create queries to extract data for the dashboard KPIs.
• Develop Tableau dashboard.
• Prepare and deliver a presentation summarizing (project) to the IT team and Maravai leadership.

The skills and experience that you will bring:

• Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree, currently in the Junior year or first semester of senior year. Preferred areas of study are Business Analytics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Data Analytics/Science.

The Summer Internship Program is a 9 week program beginning on June 17, 2024 through August 16, 2024. 

The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
