How you will create an impact:

  • Play an important role supporting our hybrid-cloud transformation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for relevant Azure products and other responsibilities.
  • Support growing business requirements utilizing public cloud services (SaaS/IaaS/PaaS).
  • Optimize efficiency using scripting, templates, automation, and IaC.
  • Implement industry and security best practices when deploying solutions.
  • Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including resource provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Actively monitor systems and services, providing an incident escalation response.
  • Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.
  • Contribute to business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
  • Provide strategy and guidance for MS Azure governance & security.
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge of relevant technologies.
  • Serve as a mentor to less experienced IT colleagues.

Your profile:

Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years of overall related experience as a cloud engineer in an enterprise environment. Additional experience, education and training may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience in the various Azure services, analytics, and storage options.
  • Experience in Azure Functions and Serverless Architecture.
  • Experience in managing Azure VM infrastructures (lifecycle process).
  • Experience in ARM templates for infrastructure deployment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
  • Good understanding of identity and access management / Conditional access.
  • Experience implementing industry best practices.
  • Hands-on IT project management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Good initiative, time management and organizational skills.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical configurations and processes.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a diverse, international team.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in optimizing resource utilization to minimize costs.
  • Scripting and Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning. (Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Git, etc)
  • Experience in Microsoft Intune
  • Experience with Azure network security (NSG)
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with Azure Cognitive Services (e.g. OpenAI / Copilot)
  • Experience with Microsoft Cloud Security (Defender, Key Vault, Sentinel, Policies, etc.)
  • Experience working with ITSM platforms (TopDesk, ServiceNow, Jira etc.)
  • Current industry certifications are a plus.

The pay range for this position in New York is $125,000 to $140,000 annually. Compensation may vary depending on relevant experience, skills, geographic location, and business needs. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, 13 paid holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, basic life insurance, and 401(k) to eligible employees.
