Aufgaben

We in the endurance testing team plan, configure and test Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our department is responsible for ensuring the highest long-term quality. We issue the endurance approval for model series and powertrain projects.

Your tasks include

  • Familiarization with the established MBG testing strategy
  • Participation in the SZWE project group - this involves analyzing fields of action
  • Methodical stocktaking in adjacent areas, such as PT/eDrive, etc.
  • Conception and transfer to complete vehicle testing Body, Int./ Ext. etc.
  • Exemplary design based on new vehicle architectures (MMA, MBEAM)

A possible title of the doctorate could be:

"Contribution to the transformation from empirical-based endurance testing to the quantification of events"

The prerequisite for employment is the supervision of the doctoral project by a university lecturer. The doctoral candidate is responsible for selecting an appropriate supervisor.

Qualifikationen

  • Completed studies in the field of automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable studies
  • Proficient in written and spoken German and English
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Commitment and ability to work in a team
  • Previous knowledge in the field of reliability technology
