Position Description:

The Territory Account Manager is a sales professional who demonstrates the effective use of Consultative Selling Skills and achieves sales targets by independently managing accounts within an assigned territory. Effectively manages accounts ranging from basic to complex, interacts with team members regarding marketing, technical, supply chain, quality and regulatory matters. 

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly CRM and Insights targets, and use of CVS sales model.
  • Promote and detail Elanco products and services to all customers (includes end users, veterinarians and veterinary clinics, vetshops and petshops, distributors, wholesalers)
  • Cultivate customer relationship in order to promote and reinforce the Elanco value proposition
  • Territory planning and implementation of sales and marketing plans
  • Identify opportunities to grow business; plan, execute and achieves sales growth
  • Full and complete knowledge of competitive products and markets
  • Work with Elanco team to defend and grow Elanco market share
  • Maintain up-to-date record keeping and administration (which includes territory plans, sales reports, CRM etc.) 

Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):

  • Customer focused with at least 2yrs of experience in sales
  • University Bachelor degree/Diploma (preference for Agricultural, Life Science & Veterinary Science)
  • Passion for the agricultural and companion animal business
