All Newegg interns will receive a meaningful project and partake in an unparalleled educational experience on-site at our corporate headquarters (HQ). We’ll provide the tools and resources needed to learn. Our hope is that the challenging and creative work you do throughout your internship will directly contribute to the business at Newegg.

We are currently planning on having our internships 100% on-site and in person. With that said, the safety of our employees is a top priority. We will equip you with unlimited masks, hand sanitizer, cleaning wipes and other supplies as suggested by CDC.

Job Description

  • This opportunity is spread across multiple departments: Marketing, MIS, Sales, HR, IT, and Operations.
  • Assist department head or designee with various business functions such as special projects relating to areas of interest and organizational impact.
  • Learn daily operating activities and participate in meetings and discussions utilizing training to identify department improvements, fixes, and/or process changes.
  • Utilize experience/training gained within the department to identify new and innovative ways to achieve revenue growth while engaging with our core audience.
  • Complete an internship project relating to the department you are placed with.
  • Provide assistance to team members with daily operational activities.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

This job might be for you if...

  • You are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student and major in Computer Science/Data Science/Machine Learning/Robotics/Mathematics or other related major.
  • You are able to commit to an 20 hours/week in-office practical training, with a minimum 6 weeks.
  • You are comfortable commuting and working in our office in City of Industry, CA.
  • You have excellent understanding and passion about online retail/e-commerce.
  • You are eager to learn and have experience in any of the following job functions:
  • Data Analysis
  • Digital Marketing
  • Leadership and Communication
  • Project Management
  • Media Production
  • Technical Product
  • You are an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy a hands-on style with a strong bias for action and results while working effectively in an innovative environment that values collaboration and creation.
  • Previous experience in e-commerce industry or product knowledge in computer hardware is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Able to speak, read, write and comprehend English.

Essential Mental & Physical Function

Must have ability to adapt and learn new software applications/systems.

Pay Transparency

This job posting may span more than one job level.

The base salary range for this position in City of Industry, CA is $18 - $22 hourly.

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges for all US-based job postings in California. We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, skills, depth of work experience and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed above.

Work Environment

Office cubicle environment with minimal exposure to the environment or health hazards.

Travel Requirements

Travel will not be required for this role.
