About Coastal Carolina Hospital
Coastal Carolina Hospital (CCH) is a 41-bed acute care hospital located at 1000 Medical Center Drive in Hardeeville, SC. Opened in 2004, CCH joined the healthcare system in 2007 and serves patients in Bluffton, Okatie, Hardeeville and surrounding counties through its care team of over 400 colleagues and over 70 physicians. The hospital provides many services to the community including a 24-hour emergency department, a dedicated Women’s Pavilion, and robotic-assisted minimally-invasive surgery. Coastal Carolina also has oversight of Tidewatch Emergency Department located in Okatie, SC which is the area’s first stand-alone emergency facility providing convenient care staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, experienced nurses and support staff 24/7/365. Contracts Specialist Full Time Days Position Summary
The Contracts Specialist implements and provides oversight for the contract management program, working closely with other stakeholders to gather and communicate various information about the hospital's contracts
Responsibilities
The Contracts specialist is responsible for implementation, management, and tracking for the overall contract management program, including:
THE CONTRACTS SPECIALIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred: Bachelors degree or 5 years health care or legal experience
Experience
Preferred: Previous experience preparing, executing and renewing contract files

Physical Demands:
Coordinating and communicating with stakeholders (e.g., legal) to ensure contracts are properly written, address specific designated needs, and are reviewed/executed in a timely fashion and in accordance with existing policies. Maintaining updated and detailed contract status reports (Excel). Regularly distributing report to key executives to be used as a management tool. Ensuring deadlines for contract execution/renewal are met in accordance with standard 120 day protocol. Maintaining database (eCATS or other corporate approved application) for all key contracts. Organizing and maintaining contract file system. Performing regular and timely filing of related contract information.
