Overview
The Integration Management Lead manages the design, development, implementation and support of frontend and backend APIs/Messaging solutions using middleware integration tools and platform(s) to integrate disparate business systems in multi-tier environments across Rain Bird. Key responsibilities include:
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership, vision, and direction of the integration development teams that aligns with Rain Bird’s business and IT objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to understand integration requirements, gather input, and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Create and maintain required artifacts related to integration best practices, standards, patterns, protocols, procedures and guidelines, code reviews etc.
- Lead the design, development, and support of integration capabilities between various applications/data sources/systems/devices using Rain Bird’s iPaaS platform and tools.
- Manage onshore, offshore, contract, and partner personnel.
- Manage integrations related resource planning and project scheduling.
- Manage integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
- Budget for resource allocation, tooling, and 3rd-party services
- Ensure appropriate communication of project status, deliverables, and features to stakeholders.
- Oversee production support, troubleshoot, and resolve integration related issues.
- Professional and positive approach, self-motivated, strong in building relationships, team player, dynamic, creative with the ability to work on own initiative.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience (8+ years) in experience in integration management, integration design, and development, preferably in retail and manufacturing industry sectors.
- Experience with leading and implementing integration platforms and tools such as MuleSoft, Workato, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies such as ESB, ETL, APIs, SOA, REST, SOAP, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Integration related certifications such as MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect, Boomi Integration Developer, or similar
