We are looking for ambitious and highly experienced data and analytics consultants to strengthen our Financial Services team in Stockholm. 

The role as a management consultant in our Financial Services team is an opportunity for you to play a key role in solving our financial services clients’ most complex data challenges. Our rapidly growing team is one of the most dominant teams in PA and has grown 80% in the last five years. We lead assignments that bring together functional knowledge of financial services with expertise in data management and analytics. As a management consultant, you will get the opportunity to help set the direction and execute projects that utilise new technology such as AI and machine learning to assist the financial services sector as they go through rapid and disruptive change. We work across banks, insurance, pension, mortgage, payments, fintechs, financial infrastructure and regulators.

We are looking for experienced consultants who can take leadership and responsibility for further developing our business within the data and analytics domain in the financial services sector. This role will blend business strategy with data analytics and technology, offering you a platform to influence the direction of top-tier financial institutions. We expect that you have strong competencies and experience within several of the following areas:

• Knowledge and understanding of the lifecycle of financial services in one or several banking domains (e.g. credit, investments, regulatory reporting, finance, financial risk management, financial anti-crime etc.).
• A strong consulting toolbox – project management, target state definition, stakeholder management with the ability to condense conceptual thinking into tangible activities that are explainable to a wide range of audiences.
• A good understanding of the main data platforms and analytical applications in the sector (from DWH to data lakes, data management and analytics platforms).
• Practical experience from working on data and analytics projects in financial services organisations.
• Experience and knowledge of data management, data quality and data contracts.
• Experience in designing, establishing and utilising data environments.
• Experience with hands-on data analysis using tools such as SQL, Python and Power BI, unlocking rapid insights from data.
• Identification and delivery of analytics use cases as PoCs or MVPs.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who are curious, ambitious and hungry to learn. As you should expect to be managing projects with responsibility for leading other consultants, we are looking for someone with a minimum of three years’ management consulting experience.

We think you will be a great fit if: 

• You have a minimum of three to eight years of experience within the financial sector – preferably from a consulting firm
• You have experience leading others
• You have a solution mindset and understand the financial services sector as well as the challenges and opportunities this sector faces
• You can navigate complex stakeholder environments, and you have hands-on experience with data management or data analytics within financial services
• You thrive on getting out of your comfort zone and take on new challenges with a smile
• You are energetic, passionate, positive and goal-focused with a commitment to delivering excellence in all circumstances
• You are a team player who understands that we achieve stronger results together than as individuals
• You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English, in writing and speaking 
• You have a master’s degree with strong academic achievements
• You are able to work in Sweden and abroad, as PA is a global company.
