HDR Construction Control Corporation is hiring a Contract Support Specialist for our Florida CEI Division. This position will be located at a field office in Orlando, Florida. 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for exercising independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project
  • Responsible for familiarity with the Department’s Procedures covering the project related duties and proficiency in the computer programs necessary to perform those duties.
  • Will be responsible for understanding which surfaces are needed from the designer 
  • Will be responsible for understanding the survey data from the field
  • Will prepare the survey data as needed for use in the software
  • Will generate accurate earthwork quantities from the software

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of contract related experience; advanced degree or contract certification program may substitute for years of experience
  • Professional, self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented with the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, with minimal management oversight
  • Excellent writing and people skills
  • Strong math and organizational skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years of CEI experience having performed/assisted in project related duties (i.e., Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) system input, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing construction contract changes, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with 3D Modeling and CADD
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II
  • Ability to become proficient in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu.
