SNV Laos is implementing a clean cooking promotion project where one of the activities is to promote electric cooking (eCooking). One component to promote clean cooking at local level is to launch the Smoke Free Village (SFV) initiative at the targeted villages. This is to encourage and households transitioning from traditional biomass cooking practices to modern cooking using electric cooking appliances with the main objective to declare villages as a model of Smoke Free. However, it is requiring a lot of promotional material appropriately with the local context and the activity implementation.

Job Description

Objective:

To develop and produce the high-relevant promotional material related to the SFV criteria, including BCC graphic, photo stories, photo galleries.

Scope of Works:

The consultant will be working on developing stories related to the traditional and modern cooking practices that talking about the benefits of moving to modern cooking solutions. Apart of that, he/she will also be working on sketching the BCC graphic which is providing key message of the implementation of BCC component. It comprises of designing the stories and make photo work with the actor/actress in local style. He/she will work with SNV team to provide timely comment and adjustment until they meet the needs of the project.

Additional Information

Budget

• The consultant should provide the estimated budget for each piece of work,
• The consultant should provide the propose stories for review and consideration,
• SNV will cover all cost related to transportation, food and accommodation if it requires to travel to other project location in according to SNV financial policy.

Terms of Payment

Payment will be made after completing and submitting all the deliverables.

Deliverables

• Final review four stories, each stories consists of 7 photo’s description/stories
• High-quality photographs printed and soft files of those four stories,
• High-quality photographs printed and soft files of those ten gallery photos,
• 06 High-quality of drawings both soft files and sample printed version.

Time Frame

All the works must be delivered by 12 May 2024

Submission of Expression of Interest

The consultant should submit their letter of interest (LOI) which include:

• Up-to-date CV highlighting professional experince
• A short statement describing your approach to the assignment and capacity statement
• Total fee (including the expected number of days) for the complete delivery of all stated outputs with a breakdown of given costs
• Evidence of the required qualifications and experience
