As the Strategic Planning Manager within our Corporate Real Estate team, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives to optimize our global real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director of Real Estate & Workplace, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement real estate strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and growth plans.

The impact you will have:

  • Establish and maintain strong accuracy in lease administration tools.
  • Manage the preparation and presentation of comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards summarizing key findings, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement an annual strategic plan for the real estate portfolio, including specific objectives, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, property performance, and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of real estate strategies and initiatives, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to drive performance improvement and maximize ROI.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners, vendors, and stakeholders to support the execution of real estate initiatives and drive successful outcomes.

  • Experience in Real Estate Analysis: Demonstrated proficiency in conducting thorough analysis of real estate market trends, property performance, and financial metrics to inform strategic decision-making and optimize portfolio performance.
  • Strategic Planning Expertise: Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive real estate strategic plans, including setting clear objectives, defining actionable strategies, and establishing measurable KPIs to drive results.
  • Strong Data and Reporting Skills: Proficiency in data management, analysis, and reporting tools, with the ability to create and maintain robust reporting mechanisms to track portfolio performance and communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, legal, and senior leadership, to ensure alignment of real estate strategies with broader organizational goals and objectives.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts, findings, and recommendations clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Lease Administration Proficiency: Understanding of lease administration principles and practices, including lease abstraction, interpretation, and compliance. Experience in managing lease portfolios, ensuring accurate and timely payment of rents and expenses, and maintaining lease databases and documentation. This includes overseeing lease renewals, terminations, and amendments while ensuring compliance with lease terms and regulatory requirements.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to adapt strategies and tactics based on changing market conditions and organizational needs.
  • Cultural Fit and Team Collaboration: Alignment with organizational values and culture, including a commitment to teamwork, collaboration, integrity, and excellence. Proven ability to build strong relationships with team members, external partners, and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above. Zone 1 Pay Range

$117,400—$207,700 USD
