About the PR, Brand Marketing, and Licensing Team

The PR, Brand Marketing, and Licensing team works with cross-functional areas across the Pottery Barn brands (Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, Pottery Barn Teen) to bring our licensed and collaboration product collections and marketing programs to life. This team is the main point of contact for license and collaboration partners, and works to ensure that our brands fulfill all obligations of our partner agreements. The team regularly interfaces with Product Design/Development, Merchandising, Creative Services, Inventory Management, Accounting, and Legal.

Overview of the PR, Brand Marketing, and Licensing Coordinator role 

The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the PR, Brand Marketing, and Licensing teams by executing the tactical needs of our licensed product partnerships, brand collaborations, and marketing opportunities. This role will work hand-in-hand with both internal cross-functional teams and external partners. This role reports to the Director of Licensing, but will support all three functional areas.

Responsibilities

  • Keep careful records of all licensed and collaboration product SKUs and contract rights
  • Create and maintain reference materials to educate cross-functional teams (e.g. contract summaries, marketing guidelines, development calendars, etc.) 
  • Manage media, licensor and collaboration partner requests for imagery, forecasts, and product samples
  • Lead contractual sample management process
  • Act as a resource to cross-functional teams, providing up-to-date information on all partnership programs
  • Assist PR, Brand Marketing, and Licensing team members with additional tasks and special projects as dictated by business needs

Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability and desire to work in a collaborative/team environment
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize in order to meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment
  • High level of organizational skills and strong attention to detail required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.

The expected pay range for this position is $55,000 Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
