The Salesforce QA Engineer would be a member of our Enterprise Applications & Technology Services organization. The primary responsibility of this position is to execute functional and non-functional testing. You will also design, create, execute and maintain test plans, cases and scripts related to the Salesforce platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write test cases and plans documented
- Perform unit, functional, smoke, integrations and regression testing
- Ensure that business requirements are mapped to the functional specifications and have sufficient test coverage
- Liaise with the development team and key business users in Agile development projects - attending scrum review meetings and develop targeted test plans and cases
- Helping define and roll out improvements to testing and quality processes
- Work towards more efficient ways of testing using the best tools/methodologies/automations
- Analyze requirements, develop a test strategy and test plan, build and execute manual and automated test cases, track defects and report results
- Track progress for automated and manual testing
- Build and mature Salesforce QA center of excellence
- Interact with geographically distributed teams
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years’ QA Experience
- Minimum 4 year experience on a Salesforce implementation project through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) acting as Salesforce QA engineer
- Experience with latest QA tools, best practices, QA methods and SAFe Agile delivery
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Attention to detail to ensure thorough testing of Salesforce applications and configurations, identifying any defects or issues before deployment
- Commitment to staying updated with the latest Salesforce features, updates, and best practices to enhance testing processes and ensure the quality of Salesforce solutions
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to the overall success of Salesforce projects and initiatives
