Zen-Noh Grain Corporation (ZGC) was formed in 1979 to accomplish the goal of establishing a safe and stable supply of U.S. corn, milo, soybeans, and other U.S. food supplies. ZGC is a U.S. subsidiary of ZEN-NOH, the largest agricultural cooperative association in Japan. We operate a grain and oilseed export terminal in Convent, Louisiana, which is the highest-handle grain export terminal in the U.S. In recent years, we have expanded our grain origination and export footprint with joint ventures in Brazil, Canada and Hong Kong. In addition to grain trading, we operate a forage processing and export business headquartered in Washington.
This job is primarily responsible for overseeing the day-to-day electrical operations at the assigned location(s) ensuring safe, consistent, efficient and profitable operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, management of assigned location staff, staffing, logistics, inventory, maintenance, efficiency, quality, and customer service. Additionally, the job incumbent will promote and maintain a positive imagine within their local communities. This job may manage a team of employees, be a project manager, or may be a combination of both.

All levels are required to:
Level 4; beginner level position that works closely with upper level Electricians to learn proper electrical procedures and techniques. Incumbents at this level should have a basic knowledge of electrical theory gained through a vocational education or equivalent hands on experience and will learn, understand and follow safe work practices.
Level 3; is an experience Electrician who will be responsible for electrical maintenance, preventing breakdowns. Responsibilities must be performed to follow the National Electric Code and in compliance with State and local building codes. Incumbents at this level must have completed NCCER Electrical Level 2 or have 3 years’ experience, have a basic understanding of electrical terminology, and understand and follow safe work practices.
Level 2; is an experience Electrician who will inspect and evaluate electrical and electronic equipment ensuring efficient and safe operation. Incumbents at this level must have an advanced understanding of electrical terminology, beginner level knowledge of PLC and HMI, basic understanding of Compuweigh scale system and of the Gates around the elevator, working knowledge of MCC buckets and starters, general knowledge of electrical blueprints and drawing, and understand and follow safe work practices.
Level 1; is an experience Electrician who will install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair and operate building electrical and emergency power generation systems. Incumbents at this level must be proficient in operating, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical systems of various applications, highly skilled in reading and evaluating electrical blueprints, panel layout sheets and other technical schematics, highly versed in the National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, knowledge in all safety procedures for the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, and use analytical and research skills to define and solve problems.

Ability to be on call, as needed.
Ability to meet requirements of PFT and fit testing, when applicable.
Ability to meet requirement of and utilize all applicable PPE, when applicable.
Ability to distinguish, with a degree of accuracy, differences or similarities in intensity or quality odors, or recognizing particular odors, using nose.
Required to work extended hours, nights, weekend, holidays and/or alternate shifts as needed.
Uses near, far and peripheral vision and depth perception for task(s) being performed; may need to be able to identify problems with grain.
The physical environment is dependent on the activities of the workday; can be inside where there are limited extremes to heat and/or cold and/or outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
