Detailed Description:
The Director, Academic Effectiveness provides leadership over institutional accreditation efforts and processes, placing an emphasis on demonstrating the university’s commitment to student learning and success, and institutional effectiveness and integrity. The director facilitates the university’s academic program review process and oversees the Academic Review Committee. Student learning and success are tracked through curricular and co-curricular experiences; the director meets with University Assessment Committee members routinely to oversee curricular and co-curricular unit assessment efforts, and works with the Core Curriculum Assessment Leadership Representative on assessment planning and tracking for accreditation. Institutional effectiveness and integrity are viewed through the lens of strategic and integrated planning; therefore, the director supports the analytical side of USD’s strategic planning efforts. The director maintains all aspects of the university’s institutional effectiveness respective webpages, supports large-scale survey administration (e.g., campus climate survey), and serves as the university administrator for Nuventive, the university’s assessment management system.

The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
