Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for a Director of Administration and Finance position on a USAID-funded anticipated Multispecies Biodiversity Conservation Activity program in Bangladesh. This would be a full-time position based in Dhaka, Bangladesh for the full life of the project (anticipated five years).
Position Description: The anticipated 5-year USAID-funded initiative titled Multispecies Biodiversity Conservation Activity (MBCA) seeks to improve the protection of key wildlife species and their habitats in Bangladesh. Targeted species may include but are not limited to Bengal tigers, Asian elephants, pangolins, turtles, tortoises, sharks, and rays. USAID has identified the following strategic objectives as areas of focus:
1. Mitigate threats to wildlife and ecosystems,
2. Reduced consumer demand for wildlife,
3. Improved wildlife management and political commitment, and
4. Enhanced safeguards and protection of natural resources and wildlife.
The DAF will be responsible for the project’s administrative operations including finance, human resource management, contract/grants compliance, procurement, and office administration while ensuring compliance with local laws and USAID and Tetra Tech rules and regulation.
