We are looking for a Service Operations IP Analyst to join our Patent Maintenance Team in Belgrade. We would love to speak with you if you want to develop further in the field of IP.

• University degree or equivalent working experience.
• C1 level of English; other languages are considered as a bonus.

What will you be doing in this role? 

• Docketing of payment confirmations in our internal system.
• Search official registers of Official IPR Offices to check for payments.
• Communicate with the Official IPR Offices (National, European and World IPR Organizations) and Agents worldwide.
• Chase Agents (our partners that make the payments to Official IPR Offices) for payment confirmations.
• Deal with Agent inquiry and Client inquiry – via email.
• Provide payment confirmations/reports to clients in regular cycles and based on their ad-hoc requests.
• Using critical thinking and problem-solving skills to find resolution to complex external/internal inquiries. Exhibiting an ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment and employ time and task management with minimal supervision.

About the Team 

Patent Maintenance Team is a team of 17, out of which 10 members are working within Order Agent Team and 7 in Capture team. Capture team is the last link in the Patent Renewals process. Their main job is processing payment confirmations in the system and providing them to the clients. Communication with agents is done in English via email, rarely via phone. Communication with clients is done only via email. This team is making sure the correct payment confirmations are received on time and processed accordingly.

Hours of Work 

8 am to 4 pm, 9 am to 5 pm or 10 am to 6 pm CET, fixed-term contract.

This is a hybrid position working in the office 3 days every other week
