Marketing Director, US Patient Services

The US Abbvie Patient Services Marketing Team leads across multiple brands and therapeutic areas to deliver an unparalleled care model that enables the best possible patient treatment experience, helping patients achieve their full treatment plan potential.

The Patient Services Marketing Director role is responsible for leading and directing the vision, marketing strategies, tactics, and resource investment for the Immunology patient support programs in the US. These programs include HUMIRA Complete, Skyrizi Complete, and RINVOQ Complete . Additionally, they will work together with the APS Patient Access and Care Teams to create Immunology Strategic Imperatives across functions for the annual strategic and tactical plan process.

The Director of Marketing position requires an ideal candidate who can exhibit positive leadership and influence across Abbvie Patient Services. This candidate must also collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful execution of the marketing plan. The ability to work collaboratively across a matrix is required. This includes working with the Rheumatology, Dermatology, and Gastroenterology Brand teams, Co-pay Center of Excellence, MABI, training, BTS, Digital Lab, Medical, Regulatory, Legal, OEC, Public Affairs, Ad Agencies, Media team, and purchasing. 

The individual in this role will be responsible for providing expertise and leadership to support Abbvie Patient Services' Digital Transformation priorities. They will lead channel planning across the patient experience, including social media, CRM, web, media, in-office, app, chat, and co-pay and product training resources. Work cross-functionally to plan program measurements, create an ideal patient treatment experience, and provide ongoing insights and performance metrics that drive innovation for product-specific patient support resources. The individual will also lead the program value proposition work and creative enhancements.

Additionally, the candidate must develop and motivate their direct reports to successfully achieve individual and organizational objectives and Infuse AbbVie Ways of Working and Talent Philosophy in day-to-day leadership and management of the business. 

Significant Work Activities -Continuous sitting for prolonged periods (more than 2 consecutive hours in an 8 hour day)

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required – MBA preferred
  • 12+ years of Marketing Experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw insights that drive the business forward
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Established track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing marketing teams
  • Experience leading creative, digital, and data agencies and motivating them to deliver high-impact marketing initiatives
  • Effective stakeholder and relationship management experience; able to interact and build trusted relationships with multiple levels

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
