Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of approximately 30 billion envelopes annually. We are hiring immediately for a 2nd shift Stock Handler in the Chicago, IL facility.

Stock Handler Pay and Schedule

• Hourly rate is $16.40 plus shift premium
• 2nd shift premium $1/hr
• 2nd shift 2pm-10pm
• Schedule is Mon-Fri/Sat required during busy season/based on business needs

Stock Handler Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Manually/Use hand truck/pallet jack to perform material handling duties.
• Receives packing order; Assembles cartons/boxes and stocks packing station.
• Removes product from conveyor and manually stacks onto skids or pallets.
• Manually loads raw material or finished product on skid or hand truck.
• Keeps record of boxes on production tickets/log sheets; reports discrepancies.
• Keeps work area clean during/end of shift; Ensures conveyor belt is clear.
• Assists with labeling cartons/boxes; may complete rework on finished product.
• Ensures pallet quality is compliant within standards.
• Provide coverage for other positions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned/required.

Stock Handler Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Exposure to high production machinery, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, etc.)
• Exposure to constant noise; able to work in hot or cold weather.
• Frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, stooping, grasping, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to/push pull 55 pounds on a skid with hand truck/pallet jack.
• Manual dexterity required; operate hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift.

Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Position requires a minimum of 2 years of forklift /power truck experience
• Minimum: 2 years of previous shipping experience in manufacturing .
• Basic verbal and written communication; math; computer skills.
• Must be able to operate shipping department machinery.
• Professional work attitude/conduct; Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Proven track record with safety and quality.
• Complies with safety rules and regulations
