DuPont is currently looking for a seasoned Marketing Communications Segment Leader f/m based in Bristol, UK.

As Marketing Communications Segment Leader f/m you will develop and execute integrated communication programs to drive business results.

You will oversee promotional activities for EMEA for brands such as Corian® Design, Tyvek® and Froth-Pak™, which protect and beautify residential and commercial construction.

An you will provide functional expertise to the marketing organization, advise on best practices and execute tactical activities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with market and business segment leaders to create strategic, integrated marketing communication programs that drive business growth objectives.
  • Consults and provides guidance on effective communication practices, develops marketing communication plans and executes effectively. Includes but not limited to:
  • Proper planning and execution of product launch communication plans
  • Managing promotion programs (Print, Digital, Social), PR, Media relations, SEM/SEO, Influencer Programs
  • Creates and owns website content
  • Managing the coordination and execution of trade events
  • Crafting and maintaining collateral
  • Drives agency partnerships and is able to clearly articulate business needs to ensure effective execution
  • Effectively utilizes and collaborates with the global network of resources to drive consistent messaging
  • Measures effectiveness of campaigns based on goals and objectives set for each program
  • Able to set communication plans based on goals and objectives of the marketing programs and effectively measures results.
  • Understands website best practices and develops content to optimize user experience.
  • Identifies appropriate social media channels, develops content and analyzes results to optimize performance.
  • Champions industry best practices in MC/brand competency and applies knowledge to develop creative solutions that meet business/marketing objectives
  • Establishes positive relationships with individuals at all levels, respecting and valuing diversity of ideas, culture, and perspectives. Generates enthusiasm and energy for the mission or task at hand.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related business fields.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Digital Marketing.

Key Prior Experiences:

  • Consistently developed integrated communication plans.
  • Implemented key communication tactics.
  • Created and distributed key sales tools (literature, presentations, samples, etc.).
  • Execution of various email marketing, digital communications and social media programs.
  • Budget management

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated Marketing Communication competency and superior functional expertise (e.g. public relations, brand management, direct marketing, digital) and knowledge as it is applied within an integrated MC plan.
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work directly with business, technical, sales and marketing at all levels.
  • Gets results - demonstrated ability to deliver superior business results that are sustainable and measurable. Ability to influence, network and collaborate to achieve both individual and business goals. Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team with other Marketing Communication/digital professionals/cross-functional project teams promoting team spirit and commitment to common objectives.
  • Ability to lead and manage agency resources (people and budgets) and evaluate good communications, proposals, SOW, media and implementation of communications.
  • Ability to translate marketing plans into solid promotion plans that drive business results.
  • Ability to navigate various language and cultural nuances across Europe to support business in multiple countries.
