Job Description 

The Systems Engineer primary responsibility is to provide pre-sales technical support on Fortinet security solutions and services.

Candidates should have a strong background in the security domain – network, applications, content, advanced threats and cloud security.

Guide and assist the major accounts sales team within Fortinet sales organization in Developing/managing large enterprise accounts to address specific customer security needs.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Account team, and Local partners and establish yourself as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers.

Responsible to understand customer requirements, environment and challenges and propose/recommend security design/architecture to clients which would scale as per customer business needs

Responsible for carrying out presales function in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.)

Participate in preparing tender documents and proposals, RFPs, RFIs

Perform/Assist in Proof of Concept as and when necessary for named Accounts.

Collaborate with other Business Units within Fortinet like TAC, Premium Support Services/ Professional Services as and when required to extend technical support to the enterprise accounts handled.

Requirements:

At least 12-15 years’ experience in networking and security field , with experience in the role of System Engineer (SE) in OEM or as Consultant with Large System Integrator.

Good interpersonal and strong presentation skills.

Proven track record of managing Enterprise customers in the region.

Strong understanding/experience of networking technologies such as Routing, Switching, VOIP, etc.

Experience/expertise of Fortinet Security solutions or completive vendor solution , with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and complementing technologies.

Relevant Industry Certifications such as CISSP, SANS, CCIE, NSE4-NSE8, is preferred.

Experience and expertise to analyse complex multivariate problems and systematic approach to faster resolution.

Prior experience of selling ever evolving security solutions including but not limited to : NGFW, APT solutions, NG-IPS, WFH, SOC solutions, Public & Private Cloud Security etc.

Experience with systems installation, configuration and administration of UNIX/Linux/ Windows-based systems. prior Active Directory/LDAP/RADIUS experience desirable.

Domestic travel within the region is required, international travel may be required as necessary.
