ABOUT THIS ROLE

As a Senior Product Manager for our Data Platform, you will play a strategic role in defining and executing our product strategy, ensuring that our platform meets & exceeds the needs of our internal teams & external clients and drives our business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, analytics, and data science, to deliver high-quality products.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead the definition and execution of the product roadmap for Apex’s Data Platform in alignment with the company's overall strategy and objectives. 
  • Own your strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, finance, marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure Apex’s Data Platform meets internal teams’ needs, customer needs, and is commercially competitive. Drive product lifecycle from requirement definitions, research, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, testing, KPIs and other launch efforts. 
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. 
  • Define and track key metrics to measure the success of the Data Platform, including quality, usage, adoption, and user satisfaction. 
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices related to Data Platforms and data tooling. 
  • Generate energy to motivate the teams throughout the entire product cycle. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data platform technologies and trends, both internally and externally. 

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred) 
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on data platforms or related technical role 
  • Proven track record of leading successful product launches and driving business growth. 
  • Experience leading product development and execution for cross-functional teams 
  • Experience researching, defining and documenting market and product requirements 

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication 
  • Demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to make informed product decisions.
  • Strong understanding of data management, analytics, cloud, and data science concepts.
