People Data Analyst, London/ Cambridge

Joining AVEVA’s People Data and Insights team, this role will cover a mix of both technical Workday reporting and storytelling aspects of analytics.

In this role you will be key in providing stakeholders with data for key decision making across a broad spectrum of areas and functions that impact on the business. This role will cover both BAU and project work.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the People team to create reports, dashboards and analytics which will lead to data-driven insights
  • Utilise the breadth of Workday reporting: Advanced Reporting, Custom Reporting, Discovery Boards, Prism and People Analytics
  • Collaborate with the wider People team to produce narrative and storytelling to the data which will help bring insights to life, use of both quantitative and qualitative techniques
  • Work to develop data accuracy and data integrity through data quality checks
  • Drive user adoption by becoming an advocate for data, and continually gathering feedback to improve the user experience
  • Developing project plans, prioritising project requests, monitoring project completion to assigned deadlines, and ensuring quality and timely delivery of solutions
  • Presenting data in an appealing and engaging way tailored to the audience to help add context, and gain buy in and adoption

Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on Workday reporting skills utilising Core reporting in HCM such as Workday Discovery Boards and Advanced Dashboards
  • Demonstrable communication skills (written and verbal) as well as data visualisation skills to help add context
  • Analytical skills, including intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Liaising with the senior stakeholders and presenting reports where required
