Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- Technical Project Manager -Finance 

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a finance background to join our team. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful implementation of finance-related technology projects within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of finance principles, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in finance and 8-10 years of experience in technical project management.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of finance-related technology projects, ensuring they are completed within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with finance and business goals.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including tasks, dependencies, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and project reviews.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficient utilization of resources.
  • Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and driving timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and other business units, to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including progress, milestones, and any changes to project scope or timeline.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications/skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
  • Relevant years of experience in technical project management, preferably with a finance background.
  • Strong understanding of finance principles, financial systems, and technology infrastructure.
  • Strong hold in at least in one of the process - O2C or P2P 
  • Proven experience in managing finance-related technology projects, such as ERP implementations, financial reporting systems, or financial process automation.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and track project progress.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with financial software and systems, such as ERP systems, financial planning tools, and reporting platforms.
