ABOUT THE ROLE

Joining the Human Resources team at CoStar Group, you will contribute to the creation of a highly successful, fast paced, growth oriented, global organization. Our people vision and strategy are aligned with CoStar Group’s overall business objectives, and at its core is centered on attracting, retaining, and developing diverse talent in the communities that we operate within.

As Senior HR Data Administrator, this hands-on role will drive HR data administration to support all aspects of the data lifecycle, including data discovery, collection, extraction, cataloging, modeling, transformation, analysis, visualization, and reporting in support of the organization’s overall HR Data & Reporting objectives.

This role will report to the Vice President of HR Services, Technology and Reporting.

This role will be 4 days onsite and 1 day remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage and maintain HR data solution configuration, security mechanism, and access governance to ensure HR data integrity, reliability, and availability to authorized users.
  • Work collaboratively with appropriate Technology teams to ensure the seamless flow of HR data for effective reporting and decision making.
  • Work with stakeholders on the definitions, standardization and implementation of key HR metrics and measures
  • Implement quality assurance processes to verify the accuracy and consistency of HR data used in business decision-making.
  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation of HR data sources, methodologies, and analytical processes for transparency, auditing, and continuity purposes.
  • Identify new sources of data and methods to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Perform queries and interpret business data requests to create efficient queries.
  • Enhance HR data reporting and analytics capabilities by leveraging appropriate tools and technologies.
  • Improve the quality of data and usability by driving an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis and reporting
  • Experience in managing sensitive and confidential data.
  • Hands-on experience in pattern and trend identification in large data sets.
  • Experience in collecting and using data to inform business decision-making and persuade others. Works effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives and creative approaches to meet business needs.
  • Experience in data integration and data governance practices, and familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Exceptional focus on continuous improvement and value creation.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative while also working collaboratively with others in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands and opportunities; ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple, detailed tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality work product under time constraints.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data analysis to business stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills to lead projects from start to finish while meeting milestones and project timelines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in data science, computer science, information systems, or a related field.
  • Experience in working with employee productivity data.
  • Hands-on experience in Workday & Teramind.
  • Expert Microsoft Office Suite skills.
