Job Description:

At Zep, the marketing team connects and coordinates with the various business functions throughout the organization (sales, channel marketing, product marketing, creative services, compliance, social media manager). To support our growing customer base, we are looking for a Content Marketing Specialist, who can step into the role and quickly take action to have an impact on the business. The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing product content to drive growth of the Zep® brand. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee development of content aligned marketing objectives including: copywriting, images, infographics
  • Create product and marketing videos, coordinate the shoots from soup to nuts
  • Point of content for the newly implemented PIM for b2b and retail products sold through the channel < striving for A+ rating on all on-line submissions (videos, pictures/photoshop editing, value/benefit story, SEO analysis / keywords) and cross sell comparisons to sell across the Zep line >
  • Partner with Channel Managers to ensure content for product launches
  • Must be able to manage multiple projects at once and deliver products on a timely basis
  • Understand the customer segments and track the digital needs by online customer
  • Easily get up to speed with company processes as well as look to continuously improve processes
  • Passion for the cleaning industry

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in marketing, communications, public relations, business. 
  • 3-5 years of consumer packaged goods and/or B2B product background, with experience in developing and marketing programs with flawless execution, including copywriting, content development, and PIM process management 
  • Enthusiastic team player with a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams
  • Team player who collaborates well with others
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, experience writing online content, creative briefs and scripts
  • Proficient in Photoshop/Illustrator
  • Must be detail oriented while also being strategic
  • Up-to-date with trends and innovations in e-commerce
  • Ability to wear multiple hats
  • Knowledgeable about copywriting and/or AI
  • Nice to have: experience and knowledge with chemicals or cleaning products
