Overview

Required a Smallworld technical lead with strong skills in Smallworld Suite of products. Will be required to mentor the team in Magik development aspects and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the seamless deployment of customized solutions to meet specific business needs. 

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing custom applications for GE Smallworld 
• Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Take responsibility for the quality and timeliness of deliverables. 
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. 
• Integrate various 3rd party systems that supports day-to-day GIS operations with GIS system using Smallworld GSS 5.x 
• Conduct presentations and demos of the application 
• Ensure the team adheres to the best practices in development and version control. 

Qualifications

• Work experience: 7 -12 years 
• PNI (Telecom) /EO (Electric) /GDO & GTO (Gas) Preference is to have the expertise on any two products (Telecom and Electric, Telecom and Gas or Electric and Gas). 
• Experience on both Smallworld 4.3 and 5X versions, or Smallworld 5x experience is also acceptable. 
• Should have been part of at least one Implementation / upgrade of Smallworld. 
• Integration experience with various 3rd party systems that supports day-to-day GIS operations with GIS system using Smallworld GSS 5.x
