Company Description

With more than 20 litigation attorneys plus staff, Roll Law Group provides litigation and intellectual property legal services to all of The Wonderful Company's operating businesses as well as other unrelated entities. Its attorneys try cases and appear in federal and state courts nationwide as well as various government and administrative agencies, with significant expertise in, among other legal disciplines, employment, wage and hour, personal injury, consumer protection, class actions, intellectual property, and trademark and brand enforcement.

The Litigation Paralegal will assist attorneys with the day-to-day management of litigation cases and prepare legal documents and court filings. Success in the role is effectively working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment, be organized, display excellent communication and people skills and maturity in handling business and confidential situations and be detail-oriented. 

We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday.

Job Description

  • Assist with the preparation of court filings including, but not limited to, cite and fact checking legal briefs, confirming proper Bluebook citation, and assembling of exhibits and appendices
  • Prepare discovery documents, subpoenas, document productions, and privilege logs
  • Assist in the preparation of and attendance at arbitration hearings and trials
  • Perform basic internet and legal research using Westlaw
  • Maintain and oversee the organization electronic and hard copy case files

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm
  • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills required
  • Strong analytical, verbal and written skills required
  • Experience with litigation software, including Relativity, Westlaw and TextMap a plus
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Excel a plus
  • Fluent Spanish speaker a plus
  • Availability for overtime and flexibility for travel required
  • Experience with Cite-Checking and Blue Booking preferred

Hourly rate: $40.00 - $67.00. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills, experience, and qualifications.
