Job Summary

TDIndustries’ Marketing & Communications team is searching for a talented marketing content writer with enthusiasm for promoting the essential services and solutions provided by a premier mechanical construction and facilities services company.

The content writer will develop high-quality content for brand-centered storytelling for websites, videos, social media, marketing materials, and other platforms. The marketing writer will understand SEO best practices and B2B sales enablement and lead generation. Writing for User Experience (UX) is required, researching industry topics and trends, optimizing content for organic search, revising and editing content, and collaborating with other writers and marketers to ensure brand consistency. Ideal candidates will be creative, strategic, detail-oriented, and meet deadlines.

Essential Duties

Objectives:

  • Produce quality writing to maximize consumer engagement with marketing content and enhance brand awareness. Share insights on industry marketing content
  • Promote TDIndustries’ mission, vision and core values through clear, compelling content
  • Generate article and social media content ideas based on current events and market trends
  • Increase website traffic and non-construction services lead generation by following SEO and lead generation best practices
  • Complete writing assignments within project specifications and deadlines
  • Market products and services through blog posts, e-books, email and more

Responsibilities

  • Write content that promotes our products and services and reflects TD’s culture
  • Promote company offerings to reach new audiences
  • Conduct in-depth research and convey findings with accuracy
  • Interview internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to convey accurate content and support business unit sales objectives
  • Revise and edit content before publication
  • Stay current on marketing and general industry trends to augment content development
  • Work with content strategists to build editorial calendars
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and consistency in branding, style and messaging
  • Collaborate across teams to determine and solve campaign objectives

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years Marketing experience in an agency setting and/or high-growth company required
  • Must be able to write and edit with a knowledge of AP Style. Experience with video script writing a must
  • Must be able to provide a portfolio demonstrating fresh conceptual thinking and strong writing and multi-media skills
  • Ability to create content within brand guidelines and brand voice required
  • Ability to turn complex technical content into easily understood and engaging content required
  • Documented track record of website content management, new website builds required
  • Demonstrated project management, marketing asset management, market reporting, content curation experience required
