RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with an experienced team including developers, quantitative analysts and modeler to develop scalable, high-performance valuation models and frameworks for different asset classes working with other financial domain experts
  • Design and build multiple new financial applications, from conception to either internal or client-facing deployment
  • Integrate new modeling techniques and approaches into existing analytics libraries

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS or MS in math, hard science, quantitative finance, computer science or engineering
  • 6+ years of professional programming experience (Fewer years of relevant experience will be considered for candidates with higher academic qualifications, such as a PhD or a second Master’s degree)
  • 3-4+ years of professional programming experience in Python
  • Experience working with large dataset with SQL
  • Knowledge of quantitative models in fixed income is a plus
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is good to have:
  • Programming in C#, C++, or VBA.
  • Modelling experience with Excel
  • Experience with statistical modelling tools, e.g. Python & Pandas or R.
  • Familiarity with a range of different asset classes, such as private credit, derivatives and structured products
  • Prior Work Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to program complex analytics (through samples provided)
  • Demonstrated ability to abstract and document code (through samples provided)
  • Experience using git for version control and/or Azure DevOps experience appreciated
